We Offer

Home Energy Evaluations

Our Energy Advisors are licensed with Natural Resources Canada to provide ENERGUIDE Home Energy Evaluations.  they will prepare a thorough report of your home’s performance along with an ENERGUIDE RATING and recommendations on how you can improve.

Thermal Imaging

Through the use of Thermal Imaging, we can identify air leaks, missing insulation and identify other areas of your building envelope that are under performing.

Blower Door Testing

Testing the air leakage in your home is important.  It can be a major cause of energy loss.  It effects your efficiency, comfort and air quality.  We will measure the total leakage area in your building envelope and tell you how your house compares to other homes.

What is the process?

01.

Data Collection

The Energy Advisor (EA) will take measurements of the interior and exterior of your house.   Info is gathered on your furnace, AC, water heater and insulation levels in your home.  A blower door test (picture above) is done to measure air tightness and identify where the leaks are coming from.

02.

Discuss your goals, concerns

Our advisors will listen to your priorities and plans. Based on their observations and your plans, our Energy Advisor will make recommendations and answer all of your questions including which REBATES you may qualify for.

03.

Customized Plan

Our Advisor will use the gathered data to model the efficiency of your home.  They will provide you with detailed reports outlining their findings.  This will include recommendations and how they will effect your home’s performance.  You decide which recommendations to implement.

04.

Second Evaluation & Rebates

After completing your upgrades, a final evaluation is performed to confirm renovations were done and any receipts and documentation will be collected.  We will submit your files and receipts to NRCan and Enbridge.
